The Role – Accounts Executive
The Accounts Executive will work closely with our Finance Manager, Operations Manager and external Accounting partners to integrate our finance operations, streamline our accounting functions across our offices and lead the financing of our global growth.
We are looking for someone who has the desire to see how far they can push themselves outside of traditional career paths, with a development plan to a Senior Management position in the future.
Responsibilities:
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting and operation department
Preparing weekly vendor payments and invoices posting
Raise invoice timely for the operation team
Preparing and analysing financial reports
Monitoring internal controls
Overseeing and preparing income statements
Participating in budgeting processes
Streamlining accounting functions and operations
Handling tax matters
Developing plans for financial growth
Coordinating audit processes and external accounting partners
Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the management
Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent professional qualifications
Proven experience in finance management is preferred but fresh grads are considered
Good communication skills
Willingness to learn
Excellent interpersonal skills
Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
Committed and able to work independently and meet deadlines
Auditing experience is a plus
Confident, humble, resilient and an ability to think outside the box
