We are currently working with a market leader who operates in the operations and maintenance space for Wind Turbines.

The business is now looking for experienced Wind Service Technicians to be based out of Sydney or Melbourne with occasional travel further afield so flexibility and a willingness to travel on occasion will be required.

The successful applicant will be tasked with both maintaining and troubleshooting complex hydraulic and electrical controls circuits used to maintain wind turbines. 

Specific duties will also typically include: Record / Document all work performed, Ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures are followed at all time, Supervise other members of the team when required, Repair defects, Report policy, Troubleshoot Mechanical and Electrical faults problems, Submit progress reports, Liaise with internal and external customers.
To be considered for the opportunity you must have at least 3 years of WTG Servicing experience and be sufficient in operating relevant tools, equipment, and instruments. 

Strong knowledge of torquing, aligning generators, pulling pucks using torque, slam, and large wrenches will also be preferred.
Knowledge of Mechanical and Hydraulic troubleshooting is essential. 

Ideally, you would have worked on turbines from the following companies: Vestas, General Electric, Senvion, Nordex, Siemens

Any applicants that are to be successful in securing the position must hold all of the following certifications: Working at heights, 1st Aid including CPR, Fire awareness, Manual Handling, Medical Certificate for working at heights.
