We are currently representing an established business who are now looking to add a Wind Turbine Commissioning Technician. 
 
The primary responsibility of the Wind Turbine Commissioning Technician will be to commission wind turbines safely, efficiently and in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices. The Wind Turbine Commissioning Technician is to represent the client in a responsible manner with integrity and by exercising adequate judgement. 
 
Essential Responsibilities will typically include but not be limited to; Adhering to and/or implemen Safety Procedures/protocols issued to the site that affect their scope of responsibilities in accordance with the Wind EHS Outage Plan, Comply with all Quality Processes, Ensure all systems and equipment are tested, and commissioned, in accordance with the applicable documentation Ensuring corrective action is taken to fix all problems that impact Turbine Completion
 
To be considered for the role you must have at least 3 years’ experience and knowledge of onshore wind farms within installation and mechanical completion of wind turbine generators and also be experienced in commissioning Wind Turbines. A strong commitment and desire to ensure the safety of peers and ensure a safe working environment at all times.
 
Ideally, you will have experience within the following turbine manufacturers; Nordex, Senvion, GE, Vestas or Siemens Gamesa.
 
Any applicants that are to be successful in securing the position must hold all of the following certifications; 
  • white card, 
  • working at heights, 
  • First Aid including CPR, 
  • Fire Awareness, 
  • Manual Handling
  • and HRWL.
