About the Role

NextWave are working with a leading infrastructure and energy investor who are working on several potential projects in the APAC region. As a result of this activity, they are looking for an experienced and autonomous WHSE Manager to support the investment teams during the sourcing for these projects.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting deal teams in the APAC region on their assets and potential investments
• Regional travel to complete field audits, site visits and due diligence activities
• Reviewing of contract language, historical reports, liability estimating, and leading WHSE workstreams
• As part of the Environmental Workstream, the role will also include social considerations and factors such as performing assessments of Human Rights and Modern Slavery conditions of the company's investments.
• Continuous oversight and incident reporting of existing investments in the company's portfolio, including assets in development, construction and operations.
• Reporting project progress back to management team

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in Health Safety & Environment
• Bachelor's Degree or above in a related field
• Previous experience working onsite in a WHSE Environment
• Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, regulations, standards and best practices
