NextWave Partners is working with an industry leader in energy IoT solutions with offices across the globe.

The client looks to provide data-driven solutions for sustainability projects across the globe and as part of a rapid expansion in Asia is looking for a Technical Presales Manager to cover their renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

  • Take on the responsibilities of customer engagement and technical presales, closely collaborating with global cross-functional teams from go-to-market, presales, solution architects, and domain experts.
  • Work with sales team to meet customers and other client interactions to lead renewable energy software demos etc.
  • Explore, screen, and identify new business opportunities; Follow through and ensure deals’ contractual close.
  • Build relationships with technical teams for renewable energy asset owners, asset managers, developers, EPC, and O&M companies, in the APAC region.
  • Prepare and maintain high-quality presales materials, demo and product marketing materials as well as, gather information from market and customers and feedback to internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and above, in engineering space, ideally with an emphasis in renewable technologies (e.g. solar, wind, or energy storage).
  • At least 5 years of experience in the renewable industry, with good knowledge in renewable energy technology either across PV, Wind, or BESS design, the balance of plant design, resource assessment, modeling, operation, and maintenance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills, with demonstrated experience in communicating and working with C-level executives in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Good experiences in renewable asset management, condition monitoring, operation and maintenance, performance modeling, and performance engineering;
  • Asset performance, reliability, and failure analyses are preferred.
  • Experiences in digitization, IoT, AI, SaaS, EMS, SCADA, and data communication protocols are preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.
