Position Description for Site EHS Advisor

• Review commissioning safety rules, PTW and LOTO procedures and implement a strict control over these requirements.
• Support the Project Engineering Manager in his duties of ensuring safe design of the plant/systems delivered by Client.
• Conduct EHS Leadership/coaching and intervention training for all project team members.
• Timely reporting and follow-up of EHS event analysis for level A, B or PSE EHS events.
• Ensure project EHS close-out for lessons-learned and continuous improvement are captured.

Knowledge & Experience

Essential

• Previous construction experience as an EHS Advisor with 2 years proven history.
• Diploma in Work Health and Safety or above.
• PTW and LOTO experienced.
• Incident Investigation qualification.
• Ability to effectively communicate person to person and to develop high quality written reports and metrics through Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work within a team and to be able to influence others to ensure EHS expectations are upheld.
• Excellent understanding of WHS legislation and Australian Standards as they relate to construction projects.

Desirable

• Previous work on Gas Powered Turbine projects.
• HRWL - EWP/Crane/Rigger/Dogman qualifications.
• Electrical safety.
