My client is a leading organisation within the project development and delivery of renewable energy projects across the Asia Pacific region. 

They are looking to hire an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the early-stage development and subsequent delivery of a new Offshore Wind Project they are developing in Korea.

Responsibilities

• Establishing the Project Company from scratch, including team structure and project management team
• Carrying out Wind Resource studies
• Managing the project budget and schedule, ensuring each milestone is hit on time and within budget
• Developing and implementing a procurement strategy, negotiating with key suppliers and sub-contractors
• Reviewing and approving the key deliverables from the teams within the project
• Reviewing proposals and selecting the relevant EPC partner for the project
• Leading site selection process for the project
• Managing dialogue with key project stakeholders
• Preparing and presenting project progress reports to the board

Requirements

• BSc Degree in Engineering (MSc preferred)
• Previous experience delivering an Offshore Wind project from conception to completion
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Ability to work and relocate full time in the Korea
