Responsibilities

• Responsible for the implementation and development of products on client side
• Design, build, maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Participate in the deployment, operation and maintenance of products
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and products
• Maintain code quality and automation
• Work cross functionally with infrastructure and software teams across the business

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, IT or similar fields
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Java
• Strong experience and understanding of frameworks – Multithreading, I/O, Webservices, JVM principles
• Understanding and working experience with Java web development technologies – Spring, MyBatis
• Exposure to large amounts of data including distributed systems related technologies – Hadoop, Zookeeper, Kafka
• Experience with database related technologies – MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDB
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools - Git
• Experience with container technologies is preferred
