NextWave Partners have been tasked by one of the largest funds in Australia to find a Managing Director for their Infrastructure team.

They are looking for an experienced, infrastructure sector investment professional to provide leadership.

Responsibilities

• Origination and execution
• Management of infrastructure investments
• Fundraising
• Team building
• Source opportunities across Australia
• Lead due diligence & negotiation on prospective investments.
• Develop Investment strategy
• Fundraising and client-related activities
• Lead a team of investment professionals
• Responsible for portfolio management

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years in principal investing, specifically within infrastructure
• Open as to sector experience within infrastructure – any knowledge of transactions outside Renewables or PPP would be attractive
• Successful and proven investment track record
• Extensive network
• Top academic qualifications (Masters/MBA)
• Entrepreneurial
• Humble but experienced
• Adaptable and hands-on
• Be a mentor & someone who thrives developing talent
