We are working with an international retailer selling high-end and luxury goods. The Company sees an increasing amount of data to be processed and thus the need for data solutions and application integration architect. As the Integration Architect, you will be responsible for end-to-end service delivery of the integration platform, work closely with developers to evaluate and identify changes to existing standards and provide technical leadership to other integrations developers. As this position is considered a critical part of the Data Platform Team that requires implementation experience in middleware functionality, candidates should have extensive working exposure with global large-scale middleware solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration development standards
• Be responsible for supporting the processes and tools to enable system integration development
• Ensure application availability and manage the life cycle of middleware and related applications
• Manage risks associated with program implementation and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
• Design proof of concept solutions when necessary

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development and platform management within middleware technology e.g. WebMethods, MuleSoft
• Has strong background in SDLC and systems roll-outs, change management, and transitions from project phase to ongoing systems support 
• Experienced in designing and building concurrent, high throughput web services based on a deep understanding of the performance impacts of alternative threading architectures 
• Deep understanding of Synchronous / Asynchronous communication patterns
• Has knowledge of SOA Design patterns, Web Services Interoperability and SOA Governance & Best Practices
• Be a problem solver, possesses operational experiences in resolving production outages and maintaining application environments
• Has good project management, and prioritization skills to ensure multiple projects deadlines are met
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good to have experiences in SoftwareAG WebMethods and APIGEE
