The Quality Assurance Engineer will be tasked with planning and executing tests of the embedded systems. The QA engineer will ensure high levels of quality in the firmware releases as well as the embedded software to make sure that the integration of the technology is successful. In-depth knowledge and understanding of quality assurance, best practices, and quality control processes in embedded development are crucial to this role.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the product team to continuously create and improve testing.
• Analysing the quality of the product and advising on the risks.
• Give feedback on the embedded QA process, offering suggestions and new ideas.
• Perform product functionality tests, track anomalies, and debugging.

Requirements

• Bachelors or master’s in computer science/electronic engineering or a related field.
• 2 years of software quality assurance (both automated and manual test strategies)
• Knowledge and experience of CI/CD practices
• Experience in communication busses such as RS485 and RS232
• Scripting language experience with Python.
• Great problem-solving skills and communication skills.
