About the Role

NextWave are working with a leading offshore wind developer who are developing several large offshore wind projects in Korea. They are looking to hire an experienced and technically strong Electrical Package Manager to lead the development, planning and installation of the electrical infrastructure for these projects.

Responsibilities

  • The coordination between the external contacts and our offshore Wind team For this you approach contractors, suppliers and other parties involved;
  • The organization of the projects, such as drawing up the detailed implementation methods and for the inspections of our high voltage installations;
  • Providing advice with regard to installation, commissioning, maintenance repairs, overhauls and fault diagnosis;
  • Supervision of offshore work, revision of electrical diagrams and preparation of electrical work plans;
  • Make an active contribution to continuous improvement of the Offshore Wind department.
  • Preparing the project plan with a focus on safety;
  • Leading internal project meetings and participating in project meetings with sub-contractors and co- developers;
  • Managing the planning, development and execution of the overall electrical package
  • Managing the project schedule and commercial budgets for the electrical package;
  • Developing, negotiating and managing all contracts with the relevant sub-contractors
  • Maintaining a constant focus on the quality of the project delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering (Master's preferred)
  • Due to the location of the role, prior experience in Asia would be preferred
  • A minimum of ten (10) years' experience with a developer, utility or OEM in a similar role
  • Due to the interface management responsibilities, fluency in English is essential
