NextWave Partners is working with an exciting newly established commodity exchange that is looking to grow their office in Singapore.

For that purpose, they’re looking to hire Clearing Operations Manager to

  • Lead the initial on-boarding and maintenance of access rights for Clearing Brokers and their customers and the individual users authorized by such entities
  • Lead the initial creation of accounts for Clearing Brokers and their customers
  • Coordinate with Trading Operations Manager and team to ensure proper creation and maintenance of accounts to be used by Trading System Users
  • Coordinate with technical staff on systems integrations for Clearing Brokers
  • Coordinate with 3rd party Independent Service Providers (ISVs) that are providing and operating systems for the maintenance of records for positions and collateral for their Clearing Brokers
  • Development and maintainance procedures required for the operation of the Clearinghouse
  • Execution of all procedural steps required for the operation of the Clearinghouse
  • Hire and maintain the team to cover shifts across the global trading day
  • Maintenance and supervision of the proper handling of confidential information of stakeholders, in compliance with all laws, regulations and agreements
  • Creation and maintenance of all records required by regulation and business requirements
  • Manage Customer and User feedback enabling useful communication of business intelligence to management 
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the market for next-generation clearing processes and collateral management, and continually refine the overall strategy of the product and business as the market and technologies evolve
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a futures clearing operations environment
  • Ability to perform in a high intensity environment
  • Available to be on-call or to delegate tasks to capable subordinates around the clock to respond to issues that require immediate resolution/escalation.
  • Experience with Clearing systems (experience with Cinnober systems preferred)
  • Existing relationships with individuals in the derivatives clearing broker community in Singapore and the broader global energy market
  • Ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and work with all levels within the organisation. 
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams that may not directly report to you
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, also possess planning, organisational and presentation skills
