NextWave's Client is a successful global fund management company which currently has seven funds and multi-billion dollar commitments under management. Our Client's current investments include a wide range of energy infrastructure assets including offshore wind, onshore wind, offshore power transmission, biomass and waste to energy, and solar PV investments. The company is multinational, fast growing and entrepreneurial with extensive experience and knowledge within the fields of regulated infrastructure and renewable energy. The successful candidate will become a member of the company's investment team, playing a vital and accountable role in the investment process.

Responsibilities

  • Building and using complex financial models, completing valuation and analytical exercises
  • Developing internal analysis and presentations
  • Preparation of investment committee materials
  • Working with and managing external advisers including legal, financial and technical to execute investments
  • Management of due diligence workstreams for potential investment opportunities
  • Research in relation to counterparties, markets and assets

Requirements

  • 2-5 years’ experience within Private Equity, Infrastructure Investment, and/or Investment Banking or similar
  • Strong academic background with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • MBA/CFA not required, but is strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are a must)
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and very strong attention to detail
  • Strong corporate finance knowledge
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
