About the Role

​My client is a leading investment firm dedicated to sustainability investments and they are currently seeking a Business Development professional to join their growing team in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Support identification, origination and screening of new projects, build pipeline of potential investments in infrastructure and energy projects across APAC
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential partners, sponsors, local developers, financial institutions, government officials etc.
• Support contract negotiation which includes but not limited to Joint Investment and Development Agreement, Shareholders' Agreement, Loan Agreements etc.
• Keep abreast of market trends for potential investments within the region and support in formation of acquisition strategies

Requirements

• At least 8 years of business development/origination experience in renewable energy & infrastructure projects within the region
• Experience in infrastructure, renewable energy or power essential for this role
• Good understanding of debt and equity structures, market risk analysis and management, other financial instruments etc.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is a must, fluency in other Asian languages would be of added advantage.
