About the Role

​My client is a renewable energy developer who's active within the Southeast Asian Solar market. Directly reporting to the Group Controller in Singapore, this position will be responsible for managing the company's full accounting function within the region.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (including AP & AR process, GL, bank entries, account reconciliation, etc.)
• Completion of AR, AP, bank entries into accounting software
• Ensure accurate and proper accounting for projects across entities in Southeast Asia
• Process banking transactions: weekly AP payments and conduct inter-company invoicing and adjustments
• Ensure tax, finance and audit are fully compliant with company and statutory requirements
• Review subsidiary books for monthly Project WIP reconciliation
• Responsible for GST lodgements for Singapore entities
• Assist in year-end audit work

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting
• Working knowledge of ERPs - experience in MS Dynamics NAV preferred
• Experience managing regional portfolio a plus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Detailed oriented
