NextWave Partners is working with a Global IPP looking to expand its market in Thailand seeking an Accountant to support its operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day full set of accounting activities including general ledger, intercompany, fixed assets, billing, invoicing, receipts and payment
• Carry out a full range of month-end closing activities and ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and local statutory laws and regulations 
• Keep a timely, full, and accurate set of accounting books of the company reflecting its activities in a manner commensurate with statutory requirements, and subject to internal guidelines perform GST/VAT reconciliation and submission.
• Assist in preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, business plans, and all other financial and business documents as may be required
• Assist in any grant claims
• Responsible for other duties that may arise from time to time and as requested from the company’s senior management

Requirements

• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills
• Strong technical grounding
• Independent thinker who will take ownership of assignments
• Ability to communicate concisely and clearly
• Degree in Accountancy from a recognized university or equivalent
• At least 5 years experience handling full sets of accounts
• CPA or CPD is preferred
• Familiarity with GAAP & IFRS
• English and Thai speaker
• Local Thai only
