I began my career as a sales person for office equipment in Tokyo. 4 years later, I dove into recruitment which started in 2016 at one of the top Japanese recruitment agencies in Singapore. I was in charge of Japanese national candidates and clients in the manufacturing industry, mainly for Japanese
companies in Singapore. I typically worked on overseas Sales (Junior to Assistant General Manager
levels) and Production-related positions and my clients were not only in Singapore but also located in Japan, Philippines, UAE, and USA.
I've been a bit of a globe-trotter and can never seem to set my feet down anywhere, having lived in Japan, India, Canada, Australia and now Singapore.

My thoughts on Renewable Energy
Currently the renewable energy market in Japan is behind other countries and still relying on existing plants, including thermal power and nuclear energy. At the same time, the working force in Japan has been decreasing, therefore, it is necessary to import a strong workforce with advanced knowledge and experience from outside of Japan to the local market.
As a Recruitment Consultant for the Japanese market at NextWave, I hope to connect with highly-skilled candidates, regardless of nationality, for the clean energy market of my home country.
